“It was very good working together with the team. On the one hand, because they are good professionals, and on the other hand, because we could quickly overcome every obstacle on a personal level. I believe we managed to create a beautiful film together. Perhaps the most important thing is that we became a real team during the shooting.“

“As the head of Filmefex Studio in Budapest for over 25 years, I frequently
work on shows where puppeteering certain characters is required. Recently,
we worked with Nora and Misi on two projects back to back and we have
been very pleased by their enthusiasm and professionalism“

“The most recent film to date is Alien: Romulus Directed by Fede Alvarez.
We shot that film in Budapest recently and I came to know three of your local effects artists, and animatronic performers or “Puppeteers” named Mihaly Hajagos and Nora Revuczky as well as Gergely Goitein. They are without a doubt very talented and hardworking artists. They have a great understanding of onset character performance as well as upkeep and refurbishment of the effects.“

2007. That's the date when the possibility emerged for me to be an apprentice at the Puppet Theatre. I wanted to be an actor or even more a movie actor but I thought that there's an opportunity to learn something special, something more. To be more humble not showing off and showing your own self but perform through a medium. A new perspective! It turned out to be the best decision. A world of mystery unfolded for me. Through the puppets we can create such magic, animate such wonders that are way beyond human possibilities. Just as themselves, their technique and their wonders are unique as the productions where they come to life.
I have been interested in puppetry since I was a child, and I wanted to be a puppeteer from the age of six. After a few years in the theatre I got an opportunity in film and on the first day of shooting I felt I had found my place. Two years later I was working as a puppet supervisor in both national and international productions. In addition to the classical puppet techniques used in theatre, I have had the opportunity to work with special technique (e.g. RC puppets, giant puppets), but I am always happy to learn new things. The love of the profession and curiosity always accompanies me along the way.
In the first family video I was on (when I was just a wee 3 or 4 years old), I was joyfully buzzing around the preschool carnival with a camera made of LEGO. As time marched on, I gracefully transitioned to the other side of the camera, maintaining a deep-seated love for the art of filmmaking. These days, I'm helping out in productions as a puppeteer and actor, bringing over 15 years of experience. My superpower? I can squeeze into almost any spot, and my flexibility isn't just about finding the best place on set.
